LEGAZPI CITY — A 32-year-old woman was stabbed and killed Monday by her husband in Bombon town in Camarines Sur province.
Police Colonel Julius Caesar Domingo, Camarines Sur police chief, said in a report Tuesday, Dec. 13, that while lying at 9:20 p.m. on their bed, Manilyn Boaquiña was stabbed by her husband Salvador, 41, using a bolo in Barangay Siembre.
Initial investigation said they had a heated argument before the incident happened.
The victim, who suffered stab wounds in different parts of her body, was already dead when taken to a hospital.
Salvador surrendered to village officials after the incident and is now in the custody of the police for proper disposition.
