Suspected drug pusher nabbed in Leyte buy-bust

ORMOC CITY — A suspected drug pusher was arrested by authorities in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Libongao, Kananga town, Leyte on Monday, December 12.
Erwin Estrera, 48, a construction worker did not resist arrest.
Recovered from his possession was a sachet of shabu worth P408,000.
The suspect admitted owning the small sachet, according to the police.
The suspect said he has an ongoing case for possession of illegal drugs after he was arrested at a checkpoint in 2014.
Charges of violations of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 were being readied by the local police against the suspect who is temporarily detained at the Kananga Police Station.
