TAGBILARAN CITY — At least 48 families composed of 180 individuals were evacuated Thursday night in Candijay town in Bohol province due to inclement weather caused by a low pressure area near Mindanao.

Jerry Lacang-Fuentes, head of the Candijay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, said there had been flooding in low-lying areas since Thursday night due to heavy rains.

Residents from barangays Cambane, Luan, Panadtaran, and Canawa were brought to evacuation centers.
