MANILA, Philippines — A high value drug suspect and his companion were arrested in a buy bust operation in Makati City on Wednesday.
In a report on Thursday, the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) identified the suspects as Kim Ian Gomez, 30; and Rolando Martir, 40.
The drug sting was conducted at about 9:35 p.m. on Wednesday, December 7, along Antipolo Street, Brgy. Valenzuela, Makati City.
Seized from the suspects were suspected crystal meth weighing 53.5 grams with an estimated value of over P363,000, boodle money, and one motorcycle.
Police said charges for violation of Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act are being prepared against the suspects.
