MANILA, Philippines — Some P7,200 worth of suspected marijuana and a firearm were seized from two arrested suspects in Makati City on Dec. 5, the Southern Police District said on Tuesday.

A police report said suspects Patrick Garcia and Michael Perez were arrested for not wearing helmets and recklessly driving along Osmena Highway in Manila.

Found in their possession were 60 grams of suspected marijuana and a .38- caliber pistol loaded with two live ammunition.

Charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and the Comprehensive Law on Firearms and Ammunition will be filed against the suspects.
