OLONGAPO CITY — To vaccinate more people against COVID-19, local health officials have set up a vaccination site at a bus terminal here.
The Victory Liner Bus Terminal became the latest vaccination site in the city when it opened on Monday (Dec. 5).
According to the city health office, the site is more accessible to the public and will be operational from 9 a.m. to noon until Wednesday (Dec. 7).
Aside from the bus terminal, the main vaccination site inside SM Olongapo Central remained open for those who wanted to get their vaccines and booster shots.
The city government has already administered 452,776 COVID-19 vaccines, including booster shots, to qualified residents.
Since 2020, Olongapo has registered a total of 7,582 COVID-19 cases, only nine of which remain active.
Data showed that 7,203 of the virus-infected patients here had already recovered from the disease, while 370 had died. INQ
