Cebu’s Pantino makes semis in Tru-Flex net
THE country’s no. 7-ranked boys 14-under player Arthur Craig “Iggy” Diaz Pantino advanced to the semifinals of the 14-under of the 13th Tru-Flex National Age Group 2012 at the San Juanico Tennis Courts at the Ayala Alabang Village in Manila.
Pantino arranged a semifinals date against no. 4 Cenon Gonzales after defeating John Angelo Cerezo, 4-2, 4-0, in the quarterfinals.
The matches were shortened due to the heavy downpour.

However, Pantino bowed out in the 16-under after losing to Justine Suarez, 2-4, 2-4, in the quarterfinals.
“I feel happy (despite the loss) because it’s my first time to play in the 16-under and I reached the quarterfinals,” said Pantino. /CORRESPONDENT MARS G. ALISON
