MANILA, Philippines — A total of 18,529 out of 24,903 (74.40%) applicants passed the Nurse Licensure Examination (NLE), said the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Wednesday.
Abigail Garganta Ramirez, an applicant from Saint Paul University-Dumaguete, topped the exams with a score of 90%, said the PRC.
She is followed shortly by Jezrel Cabasis Alijid (West Visayas State University – La Paz) and Melchor Flores Pimentel Jr. (Saint Louis University), who have the same rating of 89.80%, according to the commission’s list.
With a score of 89.60%, the following placed third in the NLE: Emmanuel John Dorado Aggabao (West Visayas State University-La Paz), Adrian Miguel Amil (Cebu Normal University – Cebu State College), Jade Alexie Enriquez Aranda (University of Santo Tomas), Antonette Feliz Acaso Calimot (Cebu Normal University – Cebu State College), Michelle Joy Ledoma Lim (Tarlac State University-Tarlac College of Technology), Nikka Tan Parulan (Dr. Yanga’s Colleges INC. Bocaue).

According to the PRC, the NLE was conducted from November 12 to 13 in various testing centers across the country, including the National Capital Region, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
The Board of Nursing members who administered the test are Chairman Elsie Tee and members Carmelita Divinagracia, Elizabeth Lagrito, Zenaida Gagno, Marylou Ong, Merle Salvani and Leah Primitiva Paquiz.
Successful applicants are reminded by the PRC that their online appointments for the issuance of their professional IDs and certificates of registration will be held on January 9 to 13, January 16 to 20, and January 23 to 27.
