MANILA, Philippines — Northern Luzon may start experiencing the effects of the northeast monsoon by Thursday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Tuesday.
According to Pagasa’s website, the northeast monsoon is comprised of “cold winds from the northeast that bring rains over the eastern side of the country”.
“Sa ating three-day weather outlook, mula bukas, Miyerkules, hanggang Biyernes, December 2, inaasahan natin itong amihan o northeast monsoon, ay makaka-apekto sa northern Luzon, pagdating sa Huwebes at Biyernes,” said Pagasa weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio.

Meanwhile, for Cebu and Davao, Aurelio said that there will be cloudy skies and rain due to the intertropical convergence zone on Wednesday and Thursday.
On Tuesday, Metro Manila and the rest of the country is forecast to have generally fair weather with chances of isolated rain due to localized thunderstorms and the intertropical convergence zone, said Pagasa.

No gale warnings were raised by Pagasa but it warned of possible landslides and flash floods in areas affected by heavy rain.

- Metro Manila — 22 to 32 degrees Celsius
- Baguio — 16 to 26 degrees Celsius
- Laoag — 23 to 31 degrees Celsius
- Tuguegarao — 22 to 33 degrees Celsius
- Legazpi — 25 to 31 degrees Celsius
- Puerto Princesa — 26 to 32 degrees Celsius
- Tagaytay — 20 to 30 degrees Celsius
- Kalayaan Islands — 26 to 33 degrees Celsius
- Iloilo — 27 to 30 degrees Celsius
- Cebu — 26 to 32 degrees Celsius
- Tacloban — 25 to 32 degrees Celsius
- Cagayan de Oro — 23 to 30 degrees Celsius
- Zamboanga — 23 to 33 degrees Celsius
