SAN ANTONIO, Zambales–Authorities seized some P412,900 worth of illegal drugs during an anti-narcotics operation in this province, police said Monday, Nov. 28.
According to the data released by the Zambales provincial police office, nine drug suspects were arrested during the operation, confiscating 60.73 grams of alleged “shabu” (crystal meth).
They were among the 33 people lawmen captured during a series of operations from Nov. 21 to Nov. 27.
Eighteen of them were the province’s most wanted persons, and six were involved in illegal gambling.
They were placed in the custody of various police stations while awaiting their charges or court hearings. INQ
