SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — After recording zero new COVID-19 cases several times last week, the weekly virus positivity rate in this province had dropped further, according to OCTA Research.
In its report Monday, Nov. 28, OCTA said Zambales was among the provinces that continued to experience a downward trend in virus spread.
Citing data from the Department of Health, OCTA said the weekly COVID-19 positivity rate in the province consistently declined this month, dropping from 6.9 percent on Nov. 19 to 6.1 percent on Nov. 26.
The COVID-19 positivity rate is the percentage of tests that turn out positive.
As of Sunday, the Zambales had registered three active cases and zero new infections. INQ
