OLONGAPO CITY—Two alleged drug traders were arrested after they yielded more than P20,000 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) following a buy-bust operation, police said Friday, Nov. 25.

According to the Olongapo City Police Office (OCPO), the suspects, whose names were withheld, were collared during the anti-narcotics operation in Barangay New Kalalake by agents of the local Drug Enforcement Group.

One of the suspects was on the police’s drug watch list, the OCPO said.

Three grams of shabu, valued at P20,536 by the Dangerous Drug Board, were seized from the duo.

Both were detained at the custodial facility of the city’s drug enforcement unit and would be charged with violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
