Ormoc City girl, 10, wins gold in US triathlon

ORMOC CITY — A 10-year-old girl from this city won a gold medal in a triathlon competition held in Miami, Florida, U.S.A. last Sunday, November 20.

Aliya Nora Adre, a fifth grader at the Immaculate Conception School here, was under the Team of Ormoc Aquatic Edge Triathlon Club under coach Jonahs Tan.

Adre is now a certified international gold medalist in the triathlon field with the victory.
