32 felons captured in Zambales

The coastal waters in this province and nearby Pampanga and Bataan remained free of the harmful red tide toxins, the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) said Monday, Nov. 21.

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — A series of police operations in this province led to the arrest of 32 people who were facing various offenses.

The provincial police office said on Nov. 24 that they captured the felons from Nov. 14 to Nov. 20.

Among them were eight drug suspects collared in four operations. Seized from them were 60.73 grams of “shabu” (crystal meth) worth P412,964.

Sixteen of the arrested were wanted persons, while eight were involved in illegal gambling.

They were placed in the custody of various police stations while awaiting charges or court hearings. INQ
