Overcast skies, rainfall over parts of PH due to ITCZ on Thursday

MANILA, Philippines — The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) is expected to bring overcast skies and rainfall in some parts of the country on Thursday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.

In its Wednesday update, Pagasa said the ITCZ would bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms to Leyte provinces, Caraga region, Davao Region, Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao and Soccsksargen (South Cotabato, Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Sarangani, and General Santos City).

On the other hand, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience fair weather with partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms, said Pagasa.

Pagasa did not raise gale warnings in any seaboards nationwide.
