Marcos is PH’s ‘best marketing strategist,’ says Suarez

MANILA, Philippines — Quezon Rep. David “Jay-Jay” Suarez said Wednesday that President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. is the country’s “best marketing strategist,” congratulating the Chief Executive on his fruitful trip to Bangkok, Thailand.

Suarez noted how the President successfully advanced the country’s interests and brought home pledges for investments and job opportunities for Filipinos when he came back from his trip.

“President Marcos has again proven himself as the best marketing strategist of the country after his fruitful trip to Thailand. He was able to promote our country as an investment hub for food, agriculture and energy opportunities, among others,” he said.

The President went to Bangkok for the 29th Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (Apec) Leaders’ Meeting (AELM).

On the sidelines of the summit, the President had bilateral meetings with leaders of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, France, Australia, New Zealand, and China, who invited him to visit their respective countries.

He likewise met with business executives of companies such as Thai-based Siam Cement Group (SCG).

“Our President was well received and widely applauded by leaders all over the world. Truly, he is a well-rounded political leader who can and will ably lead our country forward,” Suarez said.

While in Thailand, the President and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos paid a courtesy call on Thailand’s Royal Family and extended their gratitude for the warm reception that were accorded to them and the Philippine delegation.

The First Couple also met with the Filipino community and thanked them for their support to the country through the work that they do abroad.
