Generally fair weather will prevail throughout the country on Wednesday with partly cloudy skies and chances of rain expected over Luzon, said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).

MANILA, Philippines — Generally fair weather will prevail throughout the country on Wednesday with partly cloudy skies and chances of rain expected over Luzon, said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).

“Sa kalakhang Luzon bukas magiging bahagyang maulap hanggang sa maulap ang kalangitan at may mga tiyansa lamang ng pag-ulan dulot ng localized thunderstorms,” said Pagasa weather specialist Patrick Del Mundo in a weather forecast Tuesday afternoon.

(In the greater part of Luzon tomorrow, the sky will be partly cloudy to cloudy and there are only chances of rain due to localized thunderstorms.)

Generally fair weather, meanwhile, will prevail over the entire Visayas and Mindanao with high chances of rain due to the intertropical convergence.

Del Mundo also said that no storms or low-pressure areas are expected to form within the Philippine area of Responsibility in the next three days

“Kaya naman aasahan natin na sa mga susunod pang mga araw ay generally magiging maaliwalas ‘yung panahon sa buong bansa maliban na lamang sa ilang pagulan dulot ng localized thunderstorms,” he added.

(That’s why we expect that in the next few days the weather will be generally clear throughout the country except for some rain caused by localized thunderstorms.)

No gale warning is also currently raised in any parts of the country’s surrounding coasts and in-land seas.
