BACOLOD CITY — The number of cholera cases in Negros Occidental hit 47 on Monday, November 21, according to Negros Occidental Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson.

Forty-three of these cases were from the third district of Negros Occidental while four were from the second district.

Talisay City has 20 cholera cases, followed by Silay City with 15 cases and one death, and EB Magalona town with six cases and one death in the third district.

Victorias City has two cholera cases while Cadiz City and Manapla town have one case each.

Bacolod City, on the other hand, recorded 21 cholera cases from September 1 to November 12.
