SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — The weekly COVID-19 positivity rate in this province continued to decrease as its active cases dropped to one on Sunday, Nov. 20, independent pandemic monitor OCTA Research said Monday.
Citing data from the Department of Health, OCTA said the province’s positivity rate went down from 7.6 percent on Nov. 12 to 6.9 percent on Nov. 19.
Zambales is among the few provinces in Central Luzon to post a downward trend in positivity rate, which refers to the percentage of tests that turn out positive.
As of Sunday, the province registered zero new infections, the third time it did not record a single new case since last week. INQ
