MANILA, Philippines — The low pressure area located off General Santos City dissipated on Saturday afternoon, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
Pagasa weather specialist Grace Castañeda said the LPA dissipated at around 2:00 p.m.
However, it will be a rainy Sunday for most parts of the country due to the effects of the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ).

Metro Manila, Aurora, Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon), Bicol Region, Mimaropa (Mindoro Occidental, Mindoro Oriental, Marinduque, Romblon, and Palawan), and the entire Visayas and Mindanao will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the ITCZ, said Pagasa.
The rest of the country meanwhile will experience fair weather with partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.
Pagasa did not raise any gale warning on any of the country’s seaboards.
