LPA off Mindanao to bring rain in most parts of PH
MANILA, Philippines — A low-pressure area located off Mindanao will bring overcast skies and rain over most parts of the country on Saturday, the state weather bureau said.
As of 3:30 pm, the LPA was located 310 kilometers east of General Santos City and is embedded along the intertropical convergence zone, according to the weather update of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) on Friday.

The LPA will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain and thunderstorms to the entire Visayas and Mindanao, as well as in Mimaropa (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, and Palawan), the Bicol Region, Quezon and the southern portion of Aurora.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon may experience fair weather, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain and thunderstorms.

Pagasa raised no gale warnings over any of the country’s seaboards.
