LEGAZPI CITY — Three Korean nationals were detained at the Mobo municipal police station in Masbate after they were arrested for alleged illegal recruitment, police said Friday, Nov. 18.

The suspects were identified as Jung Jin 40; Song Park, 36; and Kim Soo, all from Seoul in South Korea.

Police said the three were arrested at 3:35 p.m. on Thursday in Mobo’s Barangay Poblacion 1.

The lawmen and representatives of the Bureau of Immigration served a warrant of arrest against the suspects, according to Lieutenant Colonel Maria Luisa Calubaquib, the Bicol police spokesperson.

The circumstances surrounding the Koreans’ case were not immediately released.

A P40,000.00 bail was recommended for their temporary liberty. INQ
