Girl, 7, needs your help to treat her brain tumor

GABERIELLE Marie Pagarigan has been diagnosed in July last year to have a brain tumor.

Her mother Maria Pilar Pagarigan told the Inquirer that doctors here told them that an operation is impossible. Radiation therapy results proved that doctors were correct.

“So we tried calling the different hospitals in the United States only to get the same answers,” the resident of Barangay San Jose, Caloocan City, said.

Pagarigan said that the diligence of her husband Gerard in surfing the Internet led them to the website of Dr. Stanislaw Burzynski who owns a clinic in Houston, Texas.

She said they learned that Dr. Burzynski has cured a patient with similar condition as their daughter. But though the treatment would be done here due to the condition of their 7-year-old daughter, they would need P605,000 for the gendicine.

“There is cure for the brain tumor of our daughter. That is why we’re asking for your help,” she said.

Maria Pilar can be contacted at the Philippine General Hospital at 554-84-00 local 3443 or email her at [email protected]. Her bank account number with Banco de Oro (Del Monte branch) is 1360093417.
