Newly appointed Anti-Red Tape Authority (Arta) Director General Ernesto Perez on Thursday said he would focus on the remaining 7 percent of government entities nationwide who have not yet published their citizen’s charter that provides the public with their current or updated service procedures and standards.
Speaking at the Laging Handa public briefing, Perez said 93 percent of government agencies have already published their citizen’s charters.
Perez said the Arta currently is monitoring 10,000 government agencies through its Anti-Red Tape Electronic Management Information System to monitor the submission of citizen’s charters not only physically but also online. —JEROME ANING
