MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga — Policemen arrested Tarlac province’s third and fifth most wanted persons during separate operations on Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 14 and 15, in Tarlac City and Victoria town.
In a statement Wednesday, the Tarlac police identified the province’s third most wanted person as Zandy Sanchez, 32, the subject of an arrest warrant issued by Olongapo City Regional Trial Court Branch 97 Judge Melani Fay Tadili for two counts of rape without bail.
Joint operatives from the provincial, regional, and city police arrested Sanchez Tuesday at Barangay San Fernando in Victoria.
A day earlier, the police arrested Jonas Salunson, 23, the province’s fifth most wanted person after Tarlac City Family Court Branch 11 Judge Joefferson Toribio issued a warrant against him for four counts of rape by sexual assault with no recommended bail.
Both suspects were detained and were to be presented to the courts that issued the arrest warrants. INQ
