It’s the end of the game for a small town lottery (STL) operator in Camarines Sur allegedly serving as a front for the illegal numbers game “jueteng.”

In a statement released on Thursday, Interior Secretary Jesse M. Robredo said he would ask the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) to revoke the license of Evenchance Gaming Corp. in Camarines Sur following raids that led to the arrest of 51 of its employees allegedly operating jueteng instead of STL in three towns.

“We have gathered substantial evidence that would prove that Evenchance Gaming Corporation has violated the terms and conditions of its franchise. That firm is operating jueteng under the cover of PCSO’s STL franchise,” Robredo said.
