LOOK: Trailer truck hits Parañaque footbridge

MANILA, Philippines — A trailer truck slammed into a footbridge in Parañaque on Saturday, rendering it impassable.

The accident occurred around 12:45 a.m. on Dr. A. Santos Avenue at the Fourth Estate Subdivision, Barangay San Antonio, according to the local government.

The Northbound Lane of Dr. A. Santos Avenue remains closed to motorists, the city’s disaster risk and reduction and management office said.

Parañaque mayor Eric Olivarez has since inspected the site.

Olivarez reminded motorists and pedestrians not to pass under the said footbridge.
