1 dead after motorcycle hits bike in Rizal

LUCENA CITY — A bicycle rider died Wednesday after being hit by a passing motorcycle in Rodriguez town in Rizal province.
The Rodriguez police said in a report that motorcyclist Mark Joshua Denilo accidentally hit cyclist Elfrado Patricio Sr. when the latter crossed the road around 2 a.m. in Barangay Manggahan.

Patricio suffered injuries and was brought to the Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center. He died at 5:28 a.m. while undergoing treatment.

The motorbike rider was taken to police custody.
