MANILA, Philippines – Three of the four suspects who raped a woman in Cebu City last Sunday have been arrested, authorities said Tuesday.

Chief Superintendent Ager Ontog Jr., Region 7 director, said that police arrested John Mark Ortega, Basiliso Taala Jr., Roberto Nabia, who allegedly raped a 27-year-old factory worker in Consolacion town in Cebu City.

Senior Inspector Wilbert Farilla of the Consolacion police said that the victim was offered an alcoholic drink when she went to the suspects’ boarding house to collect money from Ortega. He said that the victim told police that she felt dizzy prior to the rape.

Farilla said the victim told authorities about the rape Tuesday morning. He added that police were still searching for the fourth suspect Samion Bernal.
