MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 5.2 earthquake jolted Tarlac on Tuesday evening, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
The epicenter of the quake was located 32 kilometers southeast of Tarlac City
Phivolcs said it was tectonic in origin and was recorded at exactly 10:30 pm with a depth of focus of 184 kilometers.
Intensity I was felt in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte, while instrumental intensities were recorded in the following:
Intensity III – Infanta, Pangasinan
Intensity I – Bani, Pangasinan and Iba, Zambales
No damage was caused by the quake, said Phivolcs, but aftershocks should be expected.
