MANILA, Philippines — The shear line will continue to bring cloudy skies and rain over parts of Northern Luzon on Wednesday as weather may be generally fair for the rest of the country, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said in its latest bulletin.

“Bukas, dito sa Luzon, patuloy pa rin na makakaapekto ang shear line dito sa extreme Northern Luzon kasama ang Caraga, Isabela, Aurora pati ang Quezon provinces kaya asahan ang pa-gulan dala nitong epekto ng shear line,” said Pagasa weather specialist Rhea Torres.

(Tomorrow, here in Luzon, the shear line will continue to affect extreme Northern Luzon, including Caraga, Isabela, Aurora, and Quezon provinces, so expect rain due to the effect of the shear line.)

The rest of Luzon, meanwhile, will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with chances of rain, especially by Wednesday evening, due to localized thunderstorms.

On the other hand, weather conditions may be generally fair over Visayas and Mindanao, although occasional rains by Wednesday afternoon are possible due to localized thunderstorms and the easterlies.

Torres also said that no gale warning was raised in any parts of the country’s seaboards even if rough coastal waters may occur over Northern Luzon and moderate to rough seas will prevail over Eastern Luzon and the West Philippine Sea.

As for the temperature ranges in key cities/areas across the country for Wednesday, Pagasa said:
