Shear line to trigger rain and thunderstorms over 7 areas in Luzon
MANILA, Philippines – The shear line is forecast to trigger rain and thunderstorms over seven areas in Luzon, said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) on Tuesday.
According to Pagasa, Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Aurora, Quezon, and Bicol Region will experience rain and thunderstorms due to the shear line.
(For our countrymen there, there is a large chance of cloudy skies with light to moderate with at times heavy scattered rains).
Meanwhile, the rest of the country, including Metro Manila, will experience fair weather with chances of isolated rain and thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms, said Pagasa.
