The Light Rail Transit (LRT) Authority’s free ride program for students will end on Nov. 5, according to Administrator Hernando Cabrera. He said the program, which began in August, has already benefited 1,527,219 student commuters on the LRT Line 2 from Santolan to Recto Avenue. Cabrera said, however, that students would still get a 20-percent discount starting Nov. 6. —TRISHA MANALAYSAY
