THE Blackwater Sports Elite will try to regain their winning ways when they take on the Erase Plantcenta today, in the PBA D-League Foundation Cup.
Also up today is the 4 -.m. match-up between the Cagayan Rising Suns and the Big Chill Super Chargers.
Blackwater is raring to get back on their feet following their shock defeat to the Jr. Powerade Tigers last time out. That mistake cost the Elite (1-1), who lost, 79-84 against a team composed mostly of collegiate players.
Erase Plantcenta is currently tied with Blackwater Sports, Jr. Powerade and Big Chill at 1-1. Erase Plantcenta bounced back from an opening day loss with a, 90-68 blowout against fellow newcomer Cagayan Rising Suns also last week.
Meanwhile, Big Chill will also try to put their past losses behind them. The Superchargers are coming off a stunning, 74-73 decision against Café France last week courtesy of Allan Santos’ put back shot at the buzzer. The Rising Suns will again be coached by Francis Rodriguez as head coach Alvin Pua serves the second of his three-game suspension. /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
