Oil companies raise LPG prices

/ 04:55 AM November 02, 2022

Oil companies raised the prices of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) products for November, reflecting movements in the global market. In separate advisories, Petron and Phoenix LPG Philippines announced an increase of P3.50 per kilogram in LPG prices effective on Tuesday. Their respective AutoLPG prices rose by P1.96 per liter and P1.95 per liter. “These reflect the international contract price of LPG for the month of November,” Petron said. For its part, Solane jacked up its LPG price by P3.55 per kg effective on Wednesday. As of Oct. 1, LPG prices in Metro Manila ranged from P786.95 to P971.95 per 11-kg cylinder, according to the Department of Energy’s price monitoring. Commonly known as the Saudi CP, the LPG contract price serves as the basis for pricing cooking gas products in the Philippines.
