SHS-Ateneo de Cebu Alumni inducts trustees
THE Sacred Heart School–Ateneo de Cebu Alumni Association (SHS-AAA) inducted its new set of 2012-2013 Board Members last March 23 at the Oakridge Pavilion in Banilad, Mandaue City.
The ceremony was witnessed by representatives from the Jesuit community, school administration, council of alumni past presidents, Parents-Teachers Association and the different batch representatives.
Inducted by SHS-AdC president Rev. Fr. Manuel A. Uy, SJ, the new set of trustees include Edmun Liu, president; John Alex Dytian, vice president-internal; Gilbert Chua, VP-external; Kenneth Tan, treasurer; Katrina Erika Yap, secretary and first female Board member; and board members Jonathan Jay Aldeguer, Steve Benitez, Arnold Choachuy, Marcelino Co, Peter Go, Kevin Sean Lim, Wilky Lim, Bernard Vonn Sia, Franco Soberano and Alvin Yu.
Over the years, the Association has seen a gradual increase of its members. Starting with its first batch of eight graduates, the association now has 52 batches and 5,511 members.
Furthermore, 309 graduates from batch 2012 are expected to join the association soon, bringing the total alumni members to 5,820, 91.4 percent of which are men and 8.6 percent, women.
