MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has reappointed lawyer Jay Santiago as the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) general manager.
On Tuesday, the Office of the Press Secretary officer-in-charge, Usec. Cheloy Garafil, confirmed to INQUIRER.net Santiago’s reappointment.
“Yes,” she said in a text message when asked to confirm Santiago’s reappointment.
However, Malacañang has yet to release Santiago’s appointment papers.
Santiago served as the PPA general manager during the time of former President Rodrigo Duterte.
