Pedestrian dies after car hit him while crossing Camarines Sur highway
LEGAZPI CITY — An elderly man died Monday after a passing vehicle hit him in Libmanan town in Camarines Sur province.
Colonel Julius Caesar Domingo, Camarines Sur police chief, reported Tuesday, Oct. 25, that while crossing the highway, Silverio Oliva, 86, was accidentally bumped at 6:20 p.m. by a Nissan Navara driven by Godofredo Rubi Jr., 39, in Barangay Aslong.

Oliva died while being taken to a hospital.
The driver was placed under police custody.
Further investigation is ongoing.
