CABANATUAN CITY – Thirty seven individuals facing different charges, including rape and murder, were arrested in a three-day operation against wanted persons in Nueva Ecija, police reports showed on Saturday.
Police Colonel Richard Caballero, officer-in-charge of Nueva Ecija police office, said the operation that was conducted from Oct. 19 to 21, led to the arrest of four in their most wanted list.
Caballero said that San Jose City police station netted four arrests, Cabanatuan City police had three and the stations of Licab, Llanera, Laur, Palayan, Lupao, San Antonio, San Leonardo and Talavera had two each.
The police stations of Bongabon, Cabiao, Gapan City, Gen. Natividad, Guimba, Gen. Tinio, Jaen, Pantabangan, Quezon, San Isidro, Santa Rosa, Talugtug and Zaragoza each had a single arrest.
“These operations serve as warning to all criminals who are fearless and unscrupulous,” Caballero said.
He added that Central Luzon police chief Brigadier General Cesar Pasiwen urged cops to “ensure the safety and security of the community.”
