MANILA, Philippines — The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has summoned the foreign owner and the sports car’s driver that was photographed passing through the Edsa Bus Lane.

LTO Chief Assistant Secretary Teofilo Guadiz III said Friday that they had issued a show cause order against the sports car owner and the driver, whose names remain undisclosed as of this writing, asking them to appear before the agency at 10 a.m. on Monday, October 24, because they “have a lot of explaining to do.”

Guadiz said the two must submit a written explanation as to why they should not get charged with an administrative case for disregarding traffic signs. The driver was also asked to explain why his license must not be suspended or revoked due to violations.
