The Supreme Court has announced the 14 local testing centers that will serve as the venues for the 2022 Bar examinations on Nov. 9, 13, 16 and 20.
The high court named five schools in Metro Manila, and three each in the rest of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
In the National Capital Region, it will be held at San Beda University, Manila; De La Salle University, Manila; Manila Adventist College, Pasay City; Ateneo High School Complex, Quezon City; and University of the Philippines-Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City.
In other parts of Luzon, it will be held at Saint Louis University, Baguio City; De La Salle Lipa, Batangas; and University of Nueva Caceres, Camarines Sur.
In Visayas, Bar exams will be held in University of Cebu and University of San Carlos, both in Cebu City; and Dr. Vicente Orestes Romualdez Educational Foundation, Tacloban City.
In Mindanao, the testing centers will be Xavier University-Ateneo de Cagayan, Cagayan de Oro City; Ateneo de Davao University, Davao City; and Ateneo de Zamboanga University, Zamboanga del Sur.
Covered subjects
In an earlier Bar bulletin, the Supreme Court said the 2022 Bar exams will cover remedial law and legal ethics; political and international law; criminal law; labor law and social legislation; civil law and mercantile law.
It will be the second time the mandatory qualification examination will be conducted in digital form after the 2021 test.
In an earlier Bar bulletin last Oct. 14, Associate Justice Alfredo Benjamin Caguioa, this year’s bar examination chair, said Bar examinees are expected to have downloaded the correct version of Examplify software and had them registered under their personal accounts.
