Seven druggies collared in police operations

Sachets of shabu were reportedly seized from two women, who were consequently arrested, in Tarlac City drug collared arrested

Lawmen arrested seven suspects in a string of anti-illegal drug operations in Makati, Pasay and Muntinlupa on Oct. 12 and Oct. 13 and seized P232,560 worth of suspected “shabu” (crystal meth), the Southern Police District said on Thursday.

First to be arrested on Oct. 12 were Jenny Ann Daga and Jojit Advincula at Barangay Rizal in Makati City after 21 grams of shabu, amounting to P142,800, were found in their possession.

Advincula had already been previously arrested for illegal drugs and is in the police’s watch list.

Also arrested on the same day in Pasay City were Danilo Belda and Albert Francisco who allegedly had 4.20 grams of shabu, priced at P42,160, in their possession.

Belda was also in the authorities’ drug watch list.

On Oct. 13, suspects Wilfredo Villanueva and Arsenio Leocario were caught at Barangay Putatan in Muntinlupa City with suspected shabu weighing five grams and amounting to P34,000.

A few hours later, cops arrested Maryjoy Garceron in Muntinlupa with two sachets of suspected shabu said to weigh two grams and valued at P13,600. —ANGEL YABUT
