MANILA, Philippines – The Magat Dam in Isabela has released water due to rainfall caused by former Tropical depression Maymay, which has since weakened into a low pressure area (LPA) on Thursday.

However, the National Irrigation Administration — Magat River Integrated Irrigation System (NIA-MRIIS) said that it has lessened the water it has been releasing since Wednesday because the anticipated rainfall from Maymay also lessened.
