Star-studded NAGT event this weekend
THE 2012 Century Tuna SuperTriKids and National Age Group Triathlon (NAGT) competition will be a star-studded affair as several celebreties have confirmed their participation for this weekend’s race at the Plantation Bay Resort and Spa.
Among those expected to join are actors Richard Guiterrez and Matteo Guidicelli. Guidicelli might join with his dad, having submitted his entry for this Sunday’s race.
The deadline for registration is today.
Organizers will still be accepting entries at 5 a.m. on race day but late entries will be made to pay a 20 percent add-on as penalty.
The SuperTriKids will be held on March 31 while the NAGT will be contested on April 1.
Some 20 kids have already submitted their entries for the SuperTriKids while 110 have already confirmed their entries for the NAGT.

A shorter course distance is prepared for the kids. For their safety, their swim will be held at the Plantation bay’s saltwater lagoon while they will bike and run through the resort’s car path and driveway.
