Active COVID-19 cases in Zambales drop to 21

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — The number of active COVID-19 cases in this province slightly decreased on Friday, October 7.

According to data from the provincial health office, the number of active cases dropped to 21 after 11 patients recovered from the disease in the past three days.

Last week, the number of active cases in the province jumped from 16 to 32, but it started to go down on Monday.

The same data also showed that another patient died this week, raising the death toll to 718.

Since 2020, the province has registered 12,415 COVID-19 cases, 11,676 of which have already recovered from the disease.
