MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Transportation on Friday named Riza Marie Paches as the new officer in charge of the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB).
“She shall perform and discharge all the functions and responsibilities pertaining to the position and be entitled to all benefits and allowances authorized therefore…” said Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista in a special order furnished to reporters.
This comes as lawyer Cheloy Velicaria-Garafil resigned as LTFRB chair after accepting the appointment as the undersecretary and officer in charge for the Office of the Press Secretary (OPS).
