ITCZ to bring overcast skies, rain to parts of PH on Friday

MANILA, Philippines — The Intertropical Convergence Zone will bring overcast skies with rainfall in many parts of the country on Friday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.

In its latest advisory, Pagasa said Palawan, Eastern Visayas, Caraga Region, Northern Mindanao, Zamboanga Peninsula, Basilan, Sulu and Tawi-tawi would experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the said weather system.

On the other hand, Metro Manila and the rest of the country is set to have fair weather condition with partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.

Pagasa did not also raise a gale warning in any seaboards nationwide.
