P204,000 cash stolen from courier service shop in Catarman

In Northern Samar, two unidentified persons stole P204,000 in cash from an LBC branch in Catarman.

CATARMAN, Northern Samar — Two unidentified persons stole on Thursday about P204,000 in cash from a branch of a courier and freight forwarding services firm in this municipality.

The robbers, who wore tube masks that covered half of their faces and necks, declared a heist upon entering the LBC branch at around 1:32 p.m.,  according to Lt. Colonel Michael Jude Dotingco, chief of police in Catarman.

The suspects left in haste after getting the money from the cashier’s drawer and vault.
