MANILA, Philippines — A total of 335 of 928 examinees passed the September Veterinarian Licensure Examination, said the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Monday.

The exams were held from Sept. 27 to 29 in testing centers in Metro Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Koronadal, Legazpi, and Tuguegarao.

Eight of the top 10 topnotchers were from the University of the Philippines in Los Baños (UPLB), led by Kenny Vergara Pique from UPLB who topped the list with a score of 84.90 percent.

They were followed by fellow UPLB graduate Regina Isabellle Jaimee Ignacio Ranada who scored 84.50 percent and Kent Solis Vicente of Aklan State University – Banga with a score of 83.30 percent.

Meanwhile, UPLB was named as the top performing school with 55 of 62 examinees passing, translating to a passing rate of 88.71 percent.
