MANILA, Philippines — The entire country will experience fair weather conditions on Friday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Thursday.
Pagasa weather specialist Raymond Ordinario said this is because the bureau has not monitored any weather disturbance inside the country’s Philippine area of responsibility (PAR).
Thus, Metro Manila and the rest of the country are expected to have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms, according to Pagasa.
The state weather bureau also did not raise a gale warning nationwide in the country’s seaboards.
Meanwhile, former Typhoon Luis, now outside PAR, is located 1,200 east of extreme northern Luzon, packing maximum sustained winds of 120 kilometers per hour (kph) with gustiness of up to 120 kph.
